The Voice of the Movement.

In the late 1980s and 1990s, Te Mōkai sparked a revolution, marching to stand up for Māori rights and our whenua. They motivated musicians all across New Zealand, marching alongside other groups throughout Aotearoa to ensure the voices of the people were heard.

Through their unwavering strength and powerful frequencies, one of their most favorite songs picked by the communities of New Zealand was the legendary Totara Tree.
